1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Vladimir Drogan ("we," "us," or "our"), an individual resident in Serbia, with the registered address at Majke Jevrosime 4, 11130 Kaluđerica, Serbia, handles personal information when you use Methodwise: the Methodwise app for ChatGPT, which connects to our server at https://methodwise.app/mcp/playbooks, and the website https://methodwise.app (together, the "Service").

2. What the Service Does

Methodwise helps you turn a task into a step-by-step playbook on widely known decision frameworks. The playbook is written by the AI assistant you use, such as ChatGPT. Our server checks the structure of the playbook, draws each step as a card and assembles the final document, then returns the result to the assistant.

The app does not require an account, does not store your playbooks and does not run an AI model of its own.

3. Information We Process

A. Data the App Receives from ChatGPT

ChatGPT is operated by OpenAI, and your conversation there is governed by OpenAI's terms and privacy policy. When ChatGPT uses the Methodwise app, it sends our server only the data a tool needs:

• the task you described;
• the playbook: its steps and the names of the frameworks they use;
• the options and values in a step and the choices you made;
• the next actions and the language of the final document.

This data may include personal information if you include it in your task. We use it only to prepare the tool's response and return it to ChatGPT. We do not store it: it is not written to a database or a file, and the server keeps no copy after the response is sent. The app does not receive your chat history, ChatGPT memory, account details or email address.

For each call, our service log records the time, the tool name, the status and the processing time. It does not record the data sent to the tool or the result. The service log is kept for up to 14 days and then deleted automatically.

B. Technical Data

When a browser or ChatGPT's servers connect to our server, the server receives the IP address, the time, the requested address, the type of browser or client and the response status. These details are written to the web server's access log and used for security and troubleshooting. The access log is kept for up to 14 days and then deleted automatically.

To enforce usage limits, the server counts calls to the app from each IP address for one minute. The counter is kept only in memory and is not written anywhere.

C. Website Accounts

The website offers an optional account with an email address and a password, used to manage the Service. The ChatGPT app does not need an account. If you create one, we store:

• your email address;
• a hash of your password (the password itself is never stored);
• the sessions that keep you signed in, stored only as hashes;
• content you add to your account.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information only to:

• provide the app and the website;
• keep the Service secure, enforce usage limits and prevent abuse;
• investigate and fix errors;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or marketing emails. We do not use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

5. Legal Basis (for EEA and UK Users)

We process personal information to provide the Service you request (performance of a contract), for our legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and to comply with legal obligations.

6. Who Receives Information

We share information only with the providers needed to run the Service:

• Hetzner Online GmbH hosts our server in the United States (Ashburn, Virginia). The data we hold is stored on this server.
• Google Fonts. The website loads fonts from Google's servers, so your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google when you open the website. Google's privacy policy applies.
• OpenAI. ChatGPT, where you use the app, is operated by OpenAI. Some administrator features of the website send the material being processed to the OpenAI API. Data that ChatGPT sends to the app is never passed to the OpenAI API or to any other AI model.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.

7. Data Retention

• Data sent to the app: not stored; processed in memory only while the response is prepared.
• Service logs and access logs: kept for up to 14 days, then deleted automatically.
• Usage-limit counters: one minute, in memory only.
• Account data: kept while your account exists and deleted when you ask us to delete the account. Database backups are kept on our server for 14 days and are then deleted automatically.

8. Cookies and Browser Storage

The ChatGPT app does not set cookies. The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies; it uses browser storage only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. See our Cookie Policy.

9. Data Security

All connections to the Service use HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. The database cannot be reached from the internet, and access to the server is limited to the operator's keys. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Our server is located in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office). Because the app does not store the data it receives, we hold no playbook data to access or delete.

To exercise your rights or to delete your website account, contact us at mail@methodwise.app. We reply within 30 days.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
